Agents across Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Salem, Karur and Namakkal currently travel to Chennai, Kochi or Bengaluru to meet suppliers they could meet twenty kilometres from their own shop. ETM 2027 brings those suppliers here for a day.

Agents are checked against GST or shop registration before a badge is issued. Suppliers get a room of real buyers — and agents get suppliers who came to do business, not to hand out pens.

The knowledge theatre sits at the top of the hall, so a session pulls agents through the floor rather than out of it. Registration is across the entrance foyer. Hover any stall for its type and rate.

Premium and island stalls are sold on the basis that you staff two to three parallel conversations. The whole mart runs on 17 meeting slots of 20 minutes. If a large stall turns up with one table and one person, it wastes the space it paid for — and the agents booked into it. Plan your staffing before you book the size.

Monday 25 January, hour by hour
Seventeen meeting slots of twenty minutes, eight before lunch and nine after. Lunch runs in three waves so the floor never empties. Sessions run in the theatre alongside the meetings, never instead of them.
Venue to be announced contract in progress
Erode, Tamil Nadu. The hall is an 18,000 sq ft column-free space with parking for 250 cars. The venue will be confirmed on this page as soon as the contract is signed — every registered agent is notified on WhatsApp the same day.
By road
Erode sits on NH-544 between Coimbatore and Salem. Under 90 minutes from Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Salem, Karur and Namakkal — which is exactly why the mart is here.
By train
Erode Junction is a major stop on the Chennai–Coimbatore line. Overnight trains from Chennai arrive in good time for an 08:00 registration.
Staying over
A negotiated hotel block will be published with the venue. Hosted buyers travelling more than 40 km get one night's accommodation on the Sunday.
Straight answers
Is it really free for travel agents?
Yes. Agents pay nothing — no entry fee, no meeting fee, no charge for the kit or lunch. Suppliers and sponsors fund the mart. What we ask in return is that you register properly, get verified, and turn up on the day. A no-show costs a supplier a slot they paid for.
What does "verified agent" mean, and why does it matter?
Every registration is scored on how long you have been trading, how many passengers you handle, which destinations you sell, and proof of GST or shop registration. Score sixty or above and your badge is issued immediately; below that it goes to a twenty-four-hour manual check.
It matters because suppliers are paying to meet buyers. The credibility of the buyer list is the whole product — for you as much as for them.
How many meetings will I actually get?
Up to three pre-booked twenty-minute meetings, plus the rest of the day open to walk the floor. We would rather promise three and deliver three than promise eight and waste your morning.
The arithmetic is public: 17 slots × 108 meeting positions across 80 stalls = 1,836 meetings, hard capacity. We schedule to 1,600 of them.
How are my meetings chosen?
By matching what you sell against what each supplier sells — destination overlap first, then business segment, price band, and the volume you handle. Every match comes with the reason it was made, so you can see the logic and decline anything that does not fit.
You will get your diary on WhatsApp in early January and a printed copy in your kit on the day.
Can I turn up on the day without registering?
No. Entry is by pre-registered badge scan only. It is the only way we can tell a supplier honestly how many real buyers were in the room, and it is what keeps the entry free next year.
Badge data freezes on 15 January 2027. Register after that and we will do our best, but you will not get scheduled meetings.
I'm a supplier. Why is the rate the same for one day as a two-day mart?
Because you are buying access to 600 verified buyers, not hall-hours. A concentrated single day has no dead second-day afternoon, and your staff cost and travel cost halve. If you have exhibited at a two-day regional mart, compare the cost per conversation, not the cost per day.
What happens to the business cards and leads?
Suppliers scan an agent's badge and the lead is written straight into their account — name, company, town, what they sell, and the meeting notes. Every supplier gets their full lead list as a spreadsheet and as contact cards within twenty-four hours of the close, which lands in time to work them over the Republic Day holiday.
Who is behind this?
The Erode Tour Operators Association — ETA. The mart is run by eleven member committees, and any surplus goes back into the association and the next edition. It is not a private trade-show business.
